Covid-19 outbreak is a human tragedy and has a growing impact on the global economy. Across Industries, companies should act now to protect their employees & customers. In these times where almost everyone has become the harbinger of bad news we came bearing good news for our employees. The first thing we announced was no layoffs and no pay cut for any employee of our organization. We want to appreciate our employees for their support and loyalty all these years. It’s about showing that you understand and empathize with the struggles your team faces every day. And it’s about purpose too. Working on the same lines we have allowed 100% WFH for all our cross border employees and maintained a 50: 50 ratio of attendance for other employees. Our employees who are into warehousing and distribution have to maintain 100% attendance however we have ensured to take all the necessary steps laid down by the health ministry such as regular sanitation, social distancing, contactless operations, masks gloves etc. Also each one of our employees has mandatorily downloaded Aarogya Setu App. This pandemic has seen individuals fighting for the basics and we have come forward to ensure this need not be the situation any more. We along with other partners of our industry feel the need to come together to minimize the impact on the public and to limit disruptions to economies and supply chains. We are ensuring the unhindered supply of all basic and essential commodities in each sector of our community. Local has to become global - Being a tech based organization, we provide our customers with innovative digital tools to improve visibility control & reduce dependability in the supply chain. This gives them an opportunity where they can track all the information related to their shipments and reduce the influx of international IT infrastructure.

With the correct approach, I believe this crisis will be the opportunity for organizations to bring positive societal impact instead of bouncing back to status quo.
